Introduction

According to Japan's DENTORL Law (Electrical Appliance and Material Control Law), Japanese buyers are required to register and declare with METI within one month after purchasing goods, and must label the buyer's name or ID on the product for supervision and management in the future product sales process. Products exported to Japan and applying for PSE certification must be registered with METI.

Selling PSE catalog products such as mobile lithium-ion batteries or power supplies on Japanese websites, please submit the relevant filing information to Amazon within one month after receiving the official notification from Amazon Japan. Otherwise, the relevant product information will be removed from Amazon in the future

Application Process

1. The applicant cooperates with NTEK to provide application documents;

2. Submit test reports and relevant documents to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan;

3. Apply for document registration;

4. Product brand design and confirmation.

Application Materials

1. Opening application form;

2. PSE test report (for products with batteries or adapters, PSE test report is also required for batteries and adapters);

3. Product manual (Japanese+English);

4. Product specification sheet (BOM table, product photos);

5. Differential declaration (if there are series models in the report).
