Introduction to SNI Authentication

SNI stands for Standard National Indonesia, meaning Indonesian National Standard. It is the only standard applicable in Indonesia, developed by the Indonesian Technical Committee and defined by the Indonesian National Standards Agency. Since September 7, 2007, as of 2010, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry has issued 53 mandatory industrial standards (Standard National Indonesia/SNI), covering areas such as automotive and motorcycle parts, home appliances, building materials, cables, etc. Products that have not passed the Standard National Indonesia/SNI certification will be banned from sale, and products that have already entered the market will be forcibly removed from the shelves. All controlled products exported to Indonesia must have the SNI marking, otherwise they cannot enter the Indonesian market.

The conditions that need to be met to apply for SNI certification

1. The applying company must have a legal representative in Indonesia

2. To apply for a trademark, it is necessary to register it locally in Indonesia

3. The factory needs to have ISO 9001 or similar system certification

Materials required for SNI certification

1. Application form;

2. Qualification documents that prove the establishment and existence of the enterprise, such as the company's business license, tax registration certificate, organizational code, etc;

3. ISO certificate, quality manual, and procedural documents;

4. Product production process flowchart (from raw materials to finished products);

5. Company organizational chart;

6. Raw material list (including raw material names, suppliers, product quality certificates, etc.), as well as raw material inspection records;

7. Indonesian Local Trademark Registration Certificate
