NCC, also known as National Communications Commission, is the Taiwan Communications Commission established for the development of communication and communication in Taiwan. Its main responsibilities include frequency management, radio wave detection, network domain names and websites, and related international exchange and cooperation. Communication and information equipment must obtain Taiwan NCC certification for circulation and use in the Taiwan market.

XX: Table verification authority (structure): represented by English letters.

NCC certification label style production instructions

1. It should be labeled or printed on the position of the equipment body in an appropriate proportion, with no maximum/minimum size regulations, and clarity should be the principle.

2. This NCC certification mark, together with the verification number, should be affixed to the product in accordance with regulations. Its frequency and color should be single, clear, and easy to identify.

Applicable product scope

Scope of NCC certified products in Taiwan

1. Public Switched Telephone Network Equipment (PSTN)

Wired telephones (including VOIP network telephones), automatic alarm devices, telephone recorders, fax machines, teleprinters, remote control devices, wired telephone wireless primary and secondary machines, user provided dedicated switches, key telephone systems, computer telephone integration equipment, data equipment (ADSL terminal equipment and splitters), incoming display terminal equipment, 2.4GHz RF telecommunications terminal equipment, DS1/T1/E1 terminal equipment, etc.

2. Land Mobile Network Equipment (PLMN)

Wireless calling system terminal equipment, mobile data terminal equipment, relay wireless telephone, GSM mobile telephone and terminal equipment, DCS1800 mobile telephone and terminal equipment, third-generation and fourth generation mobile communication terminal equipment (the third-generation mobile communication (3G) business license will expire on December 31, 2018 in accordance with the law).

3. Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN)

ISDN digital telephone, ISDN personal computer add-on card, ISDN G4 fax machine, ISDN video telephone, ISDN terminal adapter, ISDN terminal adapter module ISDN PABX 、 Other ISDN user terminal devices, etc.

Application Process

1. The client provides product information to the North Testing Agency for evaluation and quotation;

2. The client confirms and signs the quotation, fills out the application form, provides samples and materials, arranges payment (first payment), and the institution opens the case;

3. Arrange product forecasts and review materials;

4. If there are problems with the testing and data, arrange for rectification and retesting until they are qualified;

5. After the testing and data are qualified, the issuing agency conducts witness testing;

6. After the witness test is completed, the issuing agency issues a test report and issues a certificate;

7. The client shall pay the full amount (final payment), obtain the certificate report, and close the case.

Note: NCC certification does not accept foreign test reports and certificates.

Before the applicant assigns a local agent, foreign manufacturers can temporarily hold the certification. But if you want to handle and complete the business of importing products, you still need a local agent in the end.
