Basic Introduction

Energy saving product certification is based on relevant certification standards and technical requirements in China, formulated and processed according to internationally recognized product certification procedures, confirmed by the China Energy saving Product Certification Management Committee, and issued certification certificates and energy-saving marks to prove that a certain product is an energy-saving product. It belongs to the scope of internationally recognized product quality certification.

The energy-saving product certification system is an important energy-saving measure introduced by the State Economic and Trade Commission to cooperate with the effective implementation of the Energy Conservation Law of the People's Republic of China. It is designed to meet the needs of developing the socialist market economy, promote the progress of energy-saving technology, promote the healthy development of energy consuming products and fair market competition, and safeguard the interests of production enterprises and consumers.

The Chinese energy-saving product certification mark consists of a circular pattern formed by the first letter "e" of "energy", with a deformed Chinese character "jie" in the middle, symbolizing energy conservation. The outer circle of the gap forms the first letter "C" of "C HINA", and the upper half of "Jie" is simplified into the shape of an ancient Great Wall, forming a beacon tower pattern with the lower half, symbolizing China together. The lower half of 'Jie' is the first letter 'N' in Chinese Pinyin for 'Neng'. The entire pattern includes both Chinese and English to facilitate international integration.

The ownership of the China Energy saving Product Certification Mark belongs to the China Energy saving Product Certification Management Committee, and the right to use it belongs to the China Energy saving Product Certification Center. Anyone who misappropriates, uses or produces this logo without permission will be held legally responsible in accordance with the Energy Conservation Law of the People's Republic of China.

Scope of energy-saving certification

Our energy-saving products almost involve various fields of national economy and social life. Based on the principle of gradual implementation and classification for certification, the China Energy saving Product Certification Management Committee has determined that the first batch of products to be certified includes the following three categories: green lighting products, including compact fluorescent lamps and AC electronic ballasts; Household refrigerator; Industrial energy consuming products, including fans and pumps. These products have a large calendar usage, wide coverage, and enormous energy-saving potential. The environmental and economic benefits brought by energy conservation are also significant.
