Introduction

The cTUUS verification mark provides customers with a clear and direct method for product safety, enabling their products to successfully enter the US and Canadian markets. North America Germany Rein has been registered and can provide verification and product testing services for American ANSI/UL standards and Canadian national standards.

Technical Documentation

Frequency: 60Hz Voltage: Single phase 120V (used in the US and Canada, measuring between fire and ground lines, providing 15 or 20A protection lines); 240V (for measuring water fire lines, generally available for use)

Voltage: Three phase 208/240V

Plug structure: NEMA 5-15P and 6-15P plug standards are used in the US and Canada regions. These straight blade plugs in the United States are clearly described in NEMA (National Electronics Manufacturers Association) WD6 edition and included in UL498. The Canadian plug and socket standards are mentioned in CSA publication C22.2, No.42.

Applicable product scope

The authorized projects of Rein in Germany include office equipment, information technology, commercial machinery, audio-visual equipment, household appliances, laboratory equipment, medical equipment, testing and measuring devices, and control equipment, among others.

The US Canada certification mark of Rein in Germany is of the same level as other US NRTLs (such as UL, CSA, etc.). In terms of the US and Canadian markets, only Germany's Rein has the ability to provide product testing and validation services.

Certificate Information

Factory Inspection

TUVs conducts factory inspections four times a year, while cTUV conducts inspections twice a year. If both have applications, the factory inspection will be conducted four times a year. This factory inspection can be combined with other certificates such as TUV/GS, Japan S-Mark, or Argentina S-Mark for execution.
