Introduction

The Singapore Consumer Product Protection Regulations 1991 designated the Singapore Standards, Productivity and Innovation Commission as the product safety functional body responsible for licensing and registering products covered by the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Registration Scheme (CPS). Only registered products with the SAFETY logo can be sold in Singapore, and relevant units responsible for selling regulated goods to consumers in Singapore must register each model with the safety authorities. When logging in, it is necessary to confirm that this model complies with mandatory product safety labeling with certificates and test reports. At present, Singapore only requires safety, and EMC is only a voluntary principle.

Safety requirements: According to IEC standards, the product must also comply with tropical condition testing, and Singapore certification must provide a local agent, and the certificate holder must also be a local agent. The product can only be sold in Singapore after obtaining PSB.
