Introduction
COC certificate is a requirement for many countries. For goods exported to the Middle East such as Saudi Arabia and Iran, the importing country's customs require the importer to provide a certificate of conformity (COC) issued by a recognized international certification company for the batch of goods. SASO (Arab Standards Organization) stipulates that imported goods must have a COC clearance certificate. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia implements product conformity certification for its imported goods. All products are required to carry a compliance certificate, also known as a Saudi CoC certificate, in order to complete import clearance at Saudi customs.
