zone of application
The MET certification mark is applicable to the US and Canadian markets: The MET mark with C-US indicates that the product has been tested and meets the applicable standards in both the US and Canada, and can enter both markets simultaneously.
Applicable product scope
The safety certification mark of MET has the same legal effect as the UL mark in North America. MET can conduct testing and certification recognized by the US and Canadian governments for various electronic, household appliances, telecommunications equipment, medical equipment, power tools, and other electrical products.
Audio and video products: LCD/CRT televisions, LED advertising displays, audio and video amplifiers, sound mixers/mixers DVD/CD Player、iPod/MP3/MP4;

The necessity of MET
1. Significantly reduce certification testing costs. MET manages the company's operations with a flat organizational structure, significantly reducing management costs. Therefore, it has a cost advantage and higher cost-effectiveness in product certification.
2. Significantly reduce factory inspection costs. MET, as a customer-oriented certification company, did not adopt a "fine" measure for abnormal items found during factory inspections. At the same time, MET advocates a humanized factory inspection mode, providing customers with more factory guidance!
4. Reduce the energy spent on authentication. MET can provide technical guidance to customers, enabling them to quickly grasp the relevant product requirements. In this way, customers can greatly reduce their research efforts on product technology.
5. Reduce the time spent on authentication. MET continuously improves its service processes, greatly reducing process time and allowing customers' products to have more time to market.
6. The customer fills out the application form and MET provides a quotation

Factory Inspection
The inspection frequency for MET certified factories, except for products used in hazardous environments, is twice a year. The products used in hazardous environments are indicated in the MET report, and the corresponding factory inspections are conducted four times a year. Starting from March 2009, at the request of relevant government departments in the United States, all newly certified Chinese factories were required to undergo four inspections in the first year and two inspections annually thereafter.
