FAC certification and FAC declaration

FAC certification is divided into two forms based on product categories: declaration and certification. The declaration type is valid for 3 years, while the certification type is divided into 1 year and 3 years (subject to factory audit), with a longer application period.

Several similar models, series, or series can be specified in the FAC certificate;

Only a single model should be specified in the FAC declaration - there is no series, no series, and no similar model in the FAC declaration.

Certification can be applied for by local or foreign companies, but declarations can only be made by locally registered companies and submitted to FAC for approval.

FAC modular approval

Manufacturers can approve telecom built-in modules or end-user devices, which is legally irrelevant. It depends on the manufacturer's choice. But approving end-user devices is a better approach. If the manufacturer only approves the module, in this case, he must provide some legal and design information to any officials, customers (such as importers, customs clearance, etc.) of the end user equipment, including fully approved modules.
